Resn Labs

The Resn Showcase, is a semi-permanent installation in Shenzhen China that features five Resn projects developed into a physical interactive environment. The space was designed as a launch pad for Resn’s business into the Chinese market. The space needed to be versatile and work as a hosting space for drinks and networking after visitors had experienced the interactives

The Safety Whare

The Safety Whare is a project designed in conjunction with Storybox for Safekids Aotearoa. The Whare is a travelling exhibition designed as an interactive space for children and parents alike to raise awareness of the dangers that exist to young children around the home. It features interactive tools that show children how to prevent falls, burns, swallowing of button batteries, cutting and piercing, drowning, poisoning, driveway runover injuries, as well as how to encourage safe sleeping.

Te Mounga - Our Mountain

In 2015 we teamed up with Design+Space, and Storybox to create Te Mounga at Puke Ariki in New Plymouth.

The space is designed around a three-dimensional perception of the Mounga rather than a literal representation. Triangular forms mirror the faces and angles of the mountainside. The shard-like shapes provide space for multiple viewpoints within a single visually coherent entity. The dispersed ceiling forms echo the dynamic geological nature of the volcano, with its layers of magma and tephra. These ceiling elements break through the boundaries of the exhibition, reflecting its dynamic nature. The surfaces allow for light and colour to be projected onto them.

The Living Room

Wellington Zoo offers learning sessions in conservation, biology, animal enrichment, care and behaviours for visitors aged 18 months to 18 years.  The Zoo wanted to update The Living Room to something that was more engaging and which created a portal for revealing a glimpse of what was to come from the Zoo experience. The space we have created combines three different biomes, jungle, desert and wetlands. It includes skink and gecko habitats and tanks housing frogs, eels and an axolotl. The key message is that The Living Room displays the diversity of the environments that exist within the Zoo and the natural habitats of the Zoo animals. The final solution is a cost effective and striking approach to an interactive and welcoming learning space that represents the many facets of the Zoo environment.
